Artist Statement

From prehistory to present day, there has existed a universal current between art and the sacred. As an artist, I immerse myself in that current. Throughout my process, I am reflecting on creation realized through millions of years of evolution or in a simple moment by the hands of intention in an artistic experiment.
Colors, lines and shapes develop into a structure, the body. I assemble various objects and impressions, creating fossilized humanoids, genetically modified by the imagination.
I sculpt and deposit pigments and textures in reference to the way nature and time leave their traces on the earth. This is the flow of Life. I see the body as a storehouse of unconscious knowledge and memory of its own life as well as generations past. This is the structure of Life.
