13 MOONS is a series composed of 13 womb shells that speak of the primitive essence of women, her power of creation, her connections with the earth and the 13 moons in the lunar cycle.

These works are inspired by the paleolithic relief sculpture of "Women holding a bison horn; also by pagan myths, stories and traditions.  Like distant echoes that reverberate through time, the womb shells vibrate with an ancient power that is rooted into the archaic remnants of our ancient mothers.  The main material is clay, the symbolic flesh of the Earth Mother.
